Post 7

This past week, I learned the effects of making a dumb mistake. In the last 7 days, I have ended up putting on at least another 1000 miles on my odometer, simply from travelling for work and other family issues. Normally, this would not be an issue, but with this particular case, I forgot my laptop. Which tends to be a problem for a class predominantly taken online! Whatever the case, I simply hope I did at least moderately well on today's quiz!

Even though I am only about 19 years old, I work quite a bit, floating between a part-time and a full-time job. all while having classes. Because of all the jobs, I occasionally don't have time to do classwork as much as I'd like to, so just as I was about to catch up in IS, I unfortunately fell behind again. As I usually do though, I will catch up, it'll just take quite a bit of work again!

Originally I was going to post this post on the day of presentations, but I actually got food poisoning and haven't been able to do much. I thought my presentation went pretty well and had I not gotten sick, I would have had a great weekend. I'm almost completely caught up, so this week should be productive if nothing else!

This past week has, as per usual, been hectic, but at this point I honestly think that hectic has become the new normal in my life! I was not able to make it to class today, not for any crazy reason, but simply because my phone died and I didn't have an alarm to wake me up! I plan to finish catching up within the next few days so hopefully, after all this time, I will finally back on track for this class.

As per usual, this past week has been hectic as always. Between my jobs and my classes, I am doing my best at catching up, but I need to put in even more effort than usual. Because of this, I have literally had more meals in my car than at home! As chaotic as this may seem, I actually love this as it makes me feel like I am staying busy and progressing for my future. Here's hoping this next week goes smoothly!

Post 2

The last week has been incredibly hectic. For those of you who do not know, I am a full time student, and have both a part-time job and a full-time job. Because of this, I am almost always busy to an almost extreme extent. This included the last week where I worked over 30 hours, attended all my classes and made a total of 14 hours driving to attend a business meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Within all of this chaos, it is always nice to attend a class as straightforward as IS101.

First Post

I am  jumping onto this blog environment quite a bit late, but I hope to see the general appeal soon. This is my first time time taking IS in general, and am already seeing the benefits the class provides, as well as seeing why the class is a prerequisite for many majors. Being a business major, it only  makes sense to learn more about how technology works, as the business landscape continuously adapts to the growth of technology. So far I am excited to continue working through this class and enthusiastic for the future of this semester.
